Enrollment
4 questions
How do I enroll my child in the Ghana Homeschool Collective?
+

Enrollment is straightforward. Click any Register Online button on our website to complete the registration form, or reach us directly on WhatsApp at +233 55 693 0224. You can also email Hello@GhCCE.org with the subject line GHC Registration.

Once we receive your application, our team will confirm your spot and send payment instructions for the one-time registration fee within 24 hours.

How many families can enroll in the first cohort?
+

The first cohort is intentionally limited to 30 families to ensure every child receives personalised attention and every parent feels genuinely part of the community. Once the cohort is full, we open a waitlist for Cohort 2.

We recommend enrolling early β€” spaces are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of the β‚΅1,000 registration fee.
What happens after I submit the registration form?
+

Here is exactly what to expect step by step:

Step 1 Submit your registration form online or by WhatsApp.

Step 2 Our team contacts you within 24 hours to confirm your spot.

Step 3 You receive payment instructions for the β‚΅1,000 registration fee.

Step 4 Payment confirmed β€” you're officially part of the GHC family. Welcome! 🌱

Can I join the waitlist if the first cohort is full?
+

Absolutely. WhatsApp us or email Hello@GhCCE.org and we will add you to the waitlist for Cohort 2. Waitlisted families are given first priority when new spots open and will be notified before we reopen public enrollment.

Ages & eligibility
4 questions
What ages is the Homeschool Collective designed for?
+

The Ghana Homeschool Collective academic programme is designed for learners ages 8 to 17. Our structured curriculum is built specifically for this developmental stage to ensure every child is appropriately challenged, engaged, and fully supported throughout their learning journey.

My child is under 8. Can they still participate?
+

The Homeschool Collective's structured curriculum is designed for children ages 8–17, so our youngest community members are not yet eligible for the academic programme. That said, every family β€” including those with younger children β€” is warmly welcomed as full GhCCE members.

As GhCCE members, your whole family gains access to Culture Club Saturdays, community events, the parent professional network, speaker series, and all Centre programming. We can't wait to grow with your whole family β€” and when your child turns 8, their place in the Collective is waiting for them.

GhCCE Family Membership (β‚΅3,500/mo) covers 2 adults and up to 3 children of all ages β€” full access to everything at the Centre except the academic co-op programme.
Do children need to be currently homeschooled to join?
+

No. The GHC is open to all families who are homeschooling or exploring homeschooling β€” whether you have a formal curriculum already in place, are unschooling, or are transitioning away from a traditional school. Our tutors meet your child where they are and work with your existing approach.

Is the programme open to Ghanaian families, or only diaspora and expats?
+

The Ghana Homeschool Collective is open to all families in Ghana β€” diaspora returnees, expats, and Ghanaian families alike. Our tagline says it all: where all families in Ghana connect to thrive.

Diversity of background is one of our greatest strengths. Every child is welcomed and treated like they belong β€” because they do.

3 questions
What is the difference between GHC enrollment and GhCCE membership?
+

The Ghana Homeschool Collective (GHC) is the structured academic co-op programme for children ages 8–17, hosted at the Ghana Climate Centre of Excellence. Enrolling your child in GHC automatically includes GhCCE membership for your whole family.

GhCCE membership on its own is available for adults, professionals, and families with younger children who want access to the Centre's workshops, speaker series, Culture Club Saturdays, the diaspora professional network, and community events β€” without enrolling a child in the academic programme.

My child is under 8. Can my family still be part of GhCCE?
+

Absolutely and wholeheartedly yes. All families are welcome at GhCCE regardless of their children's ages. A GhCCE Family or Individual membership gives you full access to Culture Club Saturdays, community events, the parent network, professional workshops, and the speaker series.

Your youngest children are welcome at the Centre β€” and when they reach age 8, their path into the Homeschool Collective is already waiting for them.

What does an Individual Professional membership include?
+

The Individual Professional membership at β‚΅800/month is designed for diaspora and expat professionals in Accra who want to be part of the GhCCE community. It includes:

GhCCE workshops & seminars Monthly speaker & networking series Culture Club Saturdays Diaspora professional directory listing Climate Centre research library I-DIEM certification member discount

No children need to be enrolled β€” this membership is for you.
